Samos Island is located 330 km East of Athens and just of the coast of Asia Minor. It is one of the major tourist attractions of Greece and thousands of Greek and foreign tourists visit it all around the year but especialy in the summer. You can go from Athens to Samos either by boat (speedboat or conventional) or by plane.
Boats, departing from
the port of Piraeus, arrive to Samos after: In case you want to transport your car as well this will cost you seventy-five (75) Euros additionally. A motorbike is charged at approx. seventeen (17) Euros and a motorcycle approx. thirty (30) euros.

Each summer there are also many Flying Dolphin and other small ships that connect Samos with ports around the Aegean.
Starting on the 25th of March and till the 28th of October there are many charter flights connecting Samos with various European (mainly) countries. These flights are organized by major Greek or Foreign tourist agencies and transfer the bulk of the summer tourists to the island.
