Beach Description

Psili ammos beach at Marathokampos area (Greek ψιλή άμμος = fine sand) is of the most famous beaches of Samos, it’s also known as “Chrisi ammos”. The beach is surrounded by many pines creating thus a attractive picture, while the golden sand and shallow water make it appealing for swimming and child-friendly.
At the east of the beach is a quite big cave for much shade and coolness.
If you want to be isolated, away from the crowd and the organized part of the beach, move to western edge of the beach.

Very beautiful beach with shallow water (kids friendly). Around trees and behind you the mountains of Kerkis. The sea is crystal clear. We preferred to go right at the solitary part without sunbeds, but there is an organized part with deck chairs. The best was the end. We did the running of the century, on the soft sand, which is the best track.
