Event description
As part of the 1st Samos Arts Festival East End, at the period 21 – 27 August 2020 (for time info), at the Primary School of Kontakeika village, there will be children’s photography exhibition with the title “I write the village with light” by the kids of the Primary School of Kontakaikon, of the year 2013-14.
The intention of the Festival is to encourage Primary and Secondary schools or photography groups, or clubs in the implementation of photography programs for children or adolescents, through the public invitation for group photography.
The festival will host each year the most complete photographic work and will bear the costs of printing, travel and accommodation in Samos of a representative of the school or organization to be selected.

Eastern End – Samos Arts Festival
Since the summer of 2020, the Eastern End Festival has as its main goals to bring the largest possible population of the island in wider contact with the Arts and Culture as well as the strengthening of cultural tourism on the island of Samos.
The initiative and responsibility of the project has been taken over by the Urban Non-Profit Company under the name “Fotonisos Arts and Culture AMKE”, under the auspices of the Municipality of West Samos.
