Petards at Marathokampos village

As in all of Greece, also at Marathokambos village has the custom with crackers, but here are not just the simple crackers, but thousands of empty “bombs”, which are filled with gunpowder and paper, are set on the ground on the surrounding slopes of the village and at the next day of easter (the morning of Easter Sunday) trigger them, thus creating repetitive impressive explosions.
