•  Vassilis Papakonstantinou : This year, Vassilis Papakonstantinou completes 45 years of outstanding presence in Greek Rock music and celebrates this occasion with you at the Ireon Music Festival on August 9, 2018. From the pop song at the ‘boîtes de nuit’ and from the political song to rock, his very particular voice and his explosive stage appearances have deeply marked our days, our nights, and our memories. Vassilis Papakonstantinou always carries the legacy of his collaborations with great composers such as Mikis Theodorakis, Manos Loizos, Thanos Mikroutsikos and Nikolaos Assimos. Lyrics of his songs were written by poets of the magnitude of Tasos Livaditis, Nikos Kavvadias, Alkis Alkaios, Kostas Karyos, and great song lyricists such as Kostas Tripolitis and Odysseus Ioannou. Four generations of admirers make his audience and he chooses for them hits that marked his career. Songs that talk about love, hope, society, and human relations. “Stay strong friend” he addresses the audience from the stage and the audience responds knowing that such encouragements can only strengthen hope for better living. The never tired, romantic, beloved eternal teenager is ready for another trip on stage!
