a beautiful beach with white sand and turquoise waters. The landscape has a unique wild beauty and it’s tourist virgin. The peculiar beach is surrounded by green slopes of “Kakoperato” canyon, where nature lovers can explore. Walking along the beach, at the end, you find the church of St. Nicholas which is hanging on the edge of a rock. It is integrated into the protection network Natura 2000 because hosts seal Monachus – Monachus. The beach is ideal for those who love camping, and respecting the virgin landscape. A night in the peacefulness of nature can not be compared with any luxury hotel.
The museum is housed in an old tannery stone building and reflects the history of tanning industry in Karlovasi town, which culminated from the middle of 19th century till middle of 20th.
it is a beautiful, secluded beach in the nature, with sand and partly pebbles. Access is relatively difficult, but will reward you when you are explorer and looking for the isolation and quiet away from the crowds and organized beaches.
it’s a BLUE FLAG beach, with small pebbles at the beach (partly sandy) and with sand inside. The beach, protected by the homonymous bay, is suitable for families with small or older children, because the waters are quiet and shallows, the kids’ swimming pool which is near, the playground, the billiard, the ground chess and more. On the left and the right side of the beach there are rocks where anyone can go fishing with rod or with mask and snorkel.
