It’s built on downhill ground with beautiful view to the sea. Its houses are close to its other, separated by narrow maze streets, a characteristic more intense than any other Samian village, which gives a very beautiful picturesque character.
The museum includes several halls which travel the visitor in times of traditional winemaking and barrel manufacturing. There are tools that are used by coopers era. Characteristic is the huge wooden tanks that have been preserved until today and impress with their size, the largest is 80 tons.
Is of the most developed touristic area of Samos island, with excellent infrastructure, because of the natural beauties, numerous and beautiful beaches and calmness that has to offer.
Is in the sothwestern part of the island, just 4,5 km from Marathokampo village and 16,5 Km from Karlovasi. Administratively belongs to the “municipal community of Marathokampos”
