Beach Description
Pythagoreion beach (Greek Πυθαγορείου), it’s a BLUE FLAG beach, mostly with sand and partly pebbles next to Samos airport. The part of the beach which has blue flag is about 250 m at the front of Beach Bar “Asterias” and is at the front of a large resort. The beach it is organized and in other parts of, such as the east, but there are also blank sections (not organized), if you are interested for something like this.
The beach of Pythagorion, is one single beach with Potokaki beach, from which is separated by a small stream, at the end of the airport. The entire length of the beach is 4.5 km and is the longest beach in the island.

- Getting there : It is possible to go to the beach from many inputs, can follow the road next to the archaeological site of the Roman baths till the beach, the other from the east end of the airport, or through the parking lot of “Dorissa” hotel.
