Beach Description

Kedros beach at Plaka area (Greek Κέδρος = cedar) it’s a perfect beach for isolation in the western region of Samos. Clear water directly from the open sea, but quite cold and mostly with large waves. When you stay until the afternoon, it is worth to see the sunset with views the islands Ikaria and Fourni.

  • Best accessible by car.
  • To getting there, from Kampos Marathokampou (Votsalakia), move towards to west (to Kallithea village), for 10 km, then south (left) to Paleohori settlement) for another 2 Km, you cross settlement and continue to the dirt road (medium quality) for another 1,8 Km till the end (in the dirt road, at the first crossroads, just after village, you go right and all the others crossroads left).
