The castle of Loulouda is an impressive fortification, at the top of the towering and steep rock 600 m. height, at the south of Kokkari village.

They were the capital of the island, for about 250 years, taking the scepter from the mili village at 1600, and gave it to Samos town (then named Vathi) at the summer of 1854, by hegemony Ioannis Ghika.

The small monastery of Evaggelistrias Pagonda was founded in 1954 by Archimandrite Ioanni Papandoniou (from Koumeika) , while the church was built earlier ιν 1941 on the foundations of an ancient church that was there.

The Exhibits of the Folklore museum are placed in two large halls, the first hall displays all corners of a traditional house, and the second hall includes all the tools and items of the katoi as the loom

The Fortification wall of Samos ancient city had a total length of 6.430 m and enclosed an area of 1,2 km2 in which the city was organized.

The monastery of Kimisis Theotokou (Greek Κοίμησις της Θεοτόκου = The Assumption of the Virgin Mary), was founded in early 19th century by monks group of Mount Athos.
