Area of Kosmadei village located at the north-west of the island. Population is 95 inhabitants, 85 at the village and 10 at surrounding areas.
Kosmadei village locate at the foot of “Kerkis” mountain, with excellent northeast, northwest views to Aegean sea till Asia Minor coasts and Karlovasi town lying ahead.

It is simple and small Monastery, located on the northern slopes of Kerki mountain. Ιt is unknown when it was founded, probably the 19th century or later.
